A $27 million housing and retail complex is replacing an old gas station in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx. The 120,000-square-foot, seven-story apartment building meets affordable housing guidelines, with ten percent of its space designed to house the homeless. The project was funded by the New York State Brownfields Cleanup Program, and will have a 16,000 square foot Staples office supplies store at its base.
