The Real Deal

City Councilman Steve Levin (D-33) and developer, Community Preservation Corporation Resources, continued to debate the total number of units, and the number of affordable units, that will be part of the Domino Sugar factory redevelopment. Levin is advocating for 1600 total units, while Community Preservation Corporation Resources would like 2,200 total units. Councilman Levin would also like 40 percent of the units to be affordable, while Community Preservation Corporation Resources maintains that more than 30 percent affordability is not financially feasible.
