Five City properties and the West-Park Presbyterian Church were recently approved as landmarks by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Now that the Church has been landmarked, Church officials will be unable to convert some of the space to residential development in order to make additional revenue on the property. Some are stating that the property is still not safe because the Church lacks the funds necessary to provide required renovations.
