The winner of New Housing New York, a design competition to create an affordable and sustainable, is a design which incorporates over two hundred residential units as well as retail shops and green space. The buildings designs also include gardens, and outdoor recreational space. The project will be LEED certified, with many leading sustainable design elements including green roofs and features to help improve energy efficiency.
